What is your biggest fear about getting old? For some it may be falling over. For me, it would be the retirement home, because at that point I'd know the battle for my own independence has been lost.
If left to it's own devices, from the age of 25 our bodies go down hill. We loose muscle mass, body density, and brain cells.
Doing the cross words will help maintain 'the gray matter', but what about the rest?
Well it's good news for those who don't mind a little hard work. Exercise performed at the right intensity can not only slow the rot but also reverse it!
No I can't make you immortal!!! Sorry.
I can increase you muscle mass to a more optimum level. (Maintaining muscle mass has been shown to reduce serious falls in the elderly by up a 42%).
I can maintain your bone density and in some cases reverse it taking you out of the danger zone of osteoporosis.
I can help you maintain a functional level of fitness so you can walk down the road to the shop, then put the tins on the shelf. You can get in and out of the bath by yourself.
Let me help you maintain your independence. It's not too late!
These goals can be achieved though NASM's OPT™CET
