Question:
How long have you been personal training?
And what experience have you had?
Answer :
I have been in the fitness industry for over 10 years. The first two were just as a fitness instructor with Solihull MBC and David Lloyds, after that I have been personal training as well as instructing for the last eight years. I have done most of my work with in clubs, however I have had several home based clients.
As you may expect most of my clients have been after weight management of some sort. I also specialize in corrective exercise, and have had a 95% success rate with back problems including lower back pain and recovery from slipped or prolapsed disks.
I have also completed a course on 'Older Adults' as part of my continued education, currently about 40% of my client base fit into this category.
Question:
Why use a personal trainer?
Answer :
A good question, personal training is not the cheapest way to train. However, even if you know as much as the personal trainer does it is hard to maintain the same quality of exercise training by yourself or a less experienced training partner.
The key is to get the right personal trainer; they should ensure technique is not left by the wayside for the sake of a few kilograms. An exercise can be made harder by enforcing good technique, thus giving results while keeping the client safe and injury free.
Exercise performed correctly has many positive effects on the body, like wise done badly can damage posture, health and results.
